Welcome to our used harps page! We only sell high-quality used harps that are in playable condition. Most of our used inventory has been recently regulated, and the strings have been either fully replaced or selectively updated so that they are in good condition. We want to make sure you can fully appreciate the tone of your instrument when you come to try it out. While we do take consignment harps, we will only take those that are either up-to-date on maintenance, or that we update ourselves (we have a very reasonably-priced, in-house harp technician). Here are our current offerings:

This is a 34 string harp by Rees in solid walnut with upgraded gold-plaited Truitt levers (Rees no longer offers these) and fall leaf ornaments on the neck and soundbox. This harp is in like new cosmetic and structural condition, comes with a lifetime warrannty, and was regulated in June od 2026, at which time we replaced the bass wires and updated the rest of the strings as needed.

Here's what the Reees website says about this harp:
The Rees Mariposa Concert Line Harp has the light weight and responsiveness prized by so many modern harpers. Luckily, the Mariposa does this without sacrificing any of the big voice and comprehensive dynamic range for which Rees harps are known. The Mariposa has a range of A to C and a string feel that is light but not so light it hides or distorts the voice. The Mariposa Harp comes with full Rees sharping levers and a narrow 3.5 inch (8.89 cm) shoulder that allows for complete freedom of movement. The Mariposa is 50 inches (127 cm) tall at the point and, depending upon the wood selected, weighs between 19 and 22 pounds.
Like all Rees Concert Line Harps, the Mariposa includes a lifetime warranty.
This harp comes with a custom case, and extra strings.
Purchased new, this harp would currently cost $6400, not including shipping, the Truitt lever upgrade, or the extra strings.
(The harp is currently $5300 the case is $550 and the autumn leaf ornaments are also $550.)

41 String Wire-Strung “Patrick’s Harp” by Jay Witcher
Here's a video link of Elizabeth playing this harp:
Here is the consigner’s description off this harp: This rare 41-string folk harp is a handcrafted “stretched Patrick’s Harp” by the esteemed Jay Witcher, a revered American harp maker known for his role in the folk harp revival of the late 20th century. Witcher was widely respected for his historically informed designs, traditional craftsmanship, and deep musical sensitivity. His instruments were favored by many serious players, including storyteller and Celtic harper Patrick Ball, for whom the original “Patrick’s Harp” was named. This particular harp, made in 2017, is crafted entirely from hard maple and strung in brass music wire. Witcher himself described it in a letter as a "stretched Patrick’s Harp," a custom variation distinct from his standard models and includes an additional Bb in each octave. Original paperwork and notes from the maker will be included. Witcher’s instruments are not mass-produced, and each carries the hallmark of his careful, thoughtful construction. With his passing, harps of this quality and lineage have become increasingly rare, especially models like this one, which was built to custom specifications. It is a remarkable piece—both musically and historically—suitable for a discerning harpist, collector, or folk musician who appreciates the legacy of one of America’s great harp craftsmen. Full transparency: In the original shipping, the package was damaged and the crown of the harp suffered a small scuff/scratch. This has been tended to with refinishing. This is documented in the original paperwork. Otherwise the harp has been babied - kept in a humidity controlled room and in excellent condition. Comes with original stand and additional strings. I should note that the harp was until recently tuned diatonically, which means that it spent most of its life significantly below full tension. We polished, color coded, and tuned the strings to its intended tension in July of 2025.
On consignment for $4400. The consignor is open to reasonable offers on this harp.
Used Hummingbird Lupine 34 String
Here's a video link of Elizabeth playing this harp:
This is a beautifully constructed harp by Jerry Goldsberry of Hummingbird harps some time in the 90’s. It is solid walnut with exquisite dovetailing at the neck/pillar joint, and a soundboard that we believe is a high-quality aircraft birch. This harp has full Loveland levers that were regulated in the summer of 2025. It is strung with nylon with brass bass wires, and it’s strings were fully replaced in the summer of 2025 as well.

Blevins Mesa 34 String Harp in Maple and Cherry
This is a great student harp that we suspect, do to the vintage of the levers, is from the mid-to late 90s. This harp has a solid cherry neck and pillar, and a solid maple soundbox, so it is two-toned. It has moderate tension, and a very warm sound. Its levers are somewhat closely spaced, allowing it to have a fairly small footprint, but still enough range to be consider a full-sized floor harp. It has a normal amount of wear considering its age, but still appears to be in generally good shape. It comes with full Loveland levers that were just regulated in May of 2026, and new base wires. It also comes with a non-custom carrying case.
This would be a really good starter harp from someone who’d rather not start with a rental.

36 String Paraguayan-Style Harp
The origins of this harp are a bit of a mystery, as it was inherited by the present owner after her mother passed away, and was originally owned by her mother’s partner, who brought it to Oregon from Mexico. It is an ornately-carved non-lever, Latin-style harp, with the light-tension nylon strings and close spacing common to these instruments.
This harp is meant to be played with nails in the Paraguayan style, so it would not be suitable for somebody wishing to learn Celtic or classical harp. However, it would be great starter harp for a Latin player, as has a large, lovely sound. It has a spruce soundboard, and while it has some scuff marks and scratches, it appears to be structurally in good shape, and all of tuning pins are in good working order.
While we haven’t been able to find this particular model, you can see comparable looking harps, with similar carvings and spruce soundboards, at paraguayanharp.com. They typically run about $1500, plus shipping and customs from Paraguay.
This harp is on consignment for $750.
Magical Strings “Tristy” Lap Harp
This is a 24 string lap harp made by the highly regarded Seattle-based luthier Philip Boulding of Magical Strings. The Tristy is Magical Strings’ travel instrument, and it’s a great size for a starter or travel harp. This particular was made in 1993, and my best guess is that the neck and pillar are maple, and the soundbox is either walnut or cherry. This harp does have a slight slant in the neck as befitting it’s age, which is reflected in its price. But, it is highly playable, and we do believe this harp has a lot of life left in it given its high-quality craftsmanship and light string tension. It comes with a custom case.

Triplett McCall 25 string harp with full Lovelad Levers in Walnut
Here's a video link of Elizabeth playing this harp:
This harp comes with full Loveland levers and a case, is perfect for someone who wants a high-quality, very portable instrument at an affordable price. It's levers were last regulated in the Fall of 2025. It has an excellent tone for its small footprint. We believe it to have been made in either the late 90's or early 2000s, based on the vintage of the levers. The body of the harp is solid walnut, and the soundboard appears to be spruce. The dimensions of are:
25 strings: 3.5 octaves G-C (3 notes below middle C - 3 octaves above middle C)
Height: 36"
Soundboard width: 14"
Weight: 10 lbs
This harp appears to be in good structural shape, but we have knocked a couple hundred dollars off of the asking price due to a cosmetic nick on the side of the pillar.
On Consignment for $950
Antique Clark Harp
Here's a video link of Elizabeth playing this harp:
This is an antique 31 string Clarke harp circa 1913 — a true collector’s item. It is in stunning conditioning for its age, with original gilded Celtic knot patterns on the soundboard that are still pristine. This harp is also in really good, playable structural condition, with slightly light tension and a bright, lively tone. It was restrung in the spring of 2024 with nylon through the mid and upper register and wound bronze in the bass, and has original blade levers on all of the strings. This harp is on consignment, and proceeds from its sale will be donated to Ethos, a non-profit that brings musical education to low-income children.
